The Slogar

The Hideout
A casual dining spot offering a variety of comfort food favorites like baos and lettuce wraps, burgers and sandwiches, wings, and more. Note: Reservations are not accepted. Open 11 AM - 9 PM daily.
Breadery
An eatery, bar, and bakehouse known for its sourdough and vegetable-forward menu featuring seasonal salads, artisanal pizzas, hand-mixed breads, freshly rolled pastas, and made-from-scratch sauces. Note: Private dining can be arranged. Open 5 PM - 9 PM, Wednesday-Sunday; closed Monday-Tuesday.
The Secret Stash
A unique eatery serving gourmet pizzas topped with inventive ingredients, complemented by local beer and a salad bar. Additional highlights include pastas, cocktails, and kids' menu options. Open 11 AM - 9 PM daily. Note: Reservations are not accepted, but the venue may be booked for large events.
Soupcon Restaurant
An intimate French and American cuisine dining experience in a quaint wooden cabin (note: only 28 seats available). Presents a seasonal multi-course tasting menu featuring the freshest ingredients from land and sea, priced at $200 per person, with wine pairings available for an additional $125. Open 5 PM - 9 PM Monday-Tuesday; 6 PM seating, Thursday-Sunday. Tip: On Mondays and Tuesdays the restaurant offers a more casual a la carte menu, known as Miette.
McGill's at Crested Butte
A cozy local diner serving hearty breakfasts, creative lunches with a twist, and an array of beverage options from the renowned malts, shakes, and floats to Bloody Marys, mimosas, beer, and win. Mouthwatering menu highlights include The Haystack, breakfast burritos, and classic benedict. Open 7 AM - 2:30 PM, Thursday-Monday.

Scenic and Off-Road Drives in Crested Butte
A diverse network of scenic mountain passes and off-road trails offering breathtaking views and thrilling adventures for all skill levels. The area boasts easy drives like Kebler Pass, showcasing the largest Aspen grove on Earth, as well as challenging routes like Pearl Pass, requiring significant off-road experience and high-clearance 4x4 vehicles. Popular drives include Paradise Divide Road, Schofield Pass, and Cement Creek Road, with difficulty ratings ranging from 1 to 5.
Note: Most routes are accessible only during summer and fall months, typically from late May through October, depending on snow conditions.
Hiking

Mountain Biking
A world-renowned mountain biking destination, Crested Butte offers over 750 miles of spectacular trails with diverse terrain and stunning mountain landscapes. The most famous trails include Trail 401, known for its epic alpine descent and knee-high wildflowers, Lupine Trail with its scenic route near Slate River Road, and challenging routes like Strand Hill and Teocalli Ridge. Mountain bike season typically runs from May through October.
Ski lifts at Crested Butte Mountain Resort
A scenic ski lift network at Crested Butte Mountain Resort provides access to 1,547 skiable acres and a variety of terrain for all skill levels. The Gold Link lift offers convenient access to the entire mountain, while the private "First Tracks" shuttle service ensures easy transportation to the base area. Open daily in the winter season, typically from November through April. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views and quick lifts to maximize their time on the slopes.
